Navjeevan
| 2 years in its journey with the motto ‘Love in Action’ – the pilot project, one of its kind handled by our church. The various projects and programmes adopted by Navjeevan were carried out through the two Day and Night Care centres, the family counseling centre and the crèche at Kamathipura, the preparatory home at Kalyan, the Residential Home at Murbad, the extension Home at Vashi and Kalyan. Other programmes include outreach programmes, Day Care centers at Sindigully and Farus Road, Special Programmes for mothers, HIV awareness and prevention in keeping with the advocacy programme “Right to live and Die with Dignity” are being carried out. | |

| Navjyothi School:
The formal education of the children is catered through the Navjyothi School, which was established by Navjeevan Centre. The school has completed seven years of existence. At present, there are 262 students of which 113 are from the village. Approval for 1st to 10th has been received from the Maharashtra Board of Education. Ten children appeared for their 10th exam this year. Rev. Mathew Philip is serving as the Director and Rev. Mathew Samuel as the Co-ordinator for Navjeevan. |
