The Rt. Rev. Dr. Abraham Mar Paulos Episcopa
Diocesan Bishop
Dr Abraham Mar Paulos hails from Kanjirathara family, Kottayam. St Peters Mar Thoma Church, Manganam is his Home Parish. His basic education was at Government L P School,Muttambalam, M T Seminary High School, Kottayam, CMS College, Kottayam and Basaleos College, Kottayam. He had his Theological training from Mar Thoma Theological Seminary, Kottayam and Princeton University. He took Doctorate in Christian Education from Boston University.

He had been ordained as Deacon on 31/05/1980 by Dr Joseph Mar Irenaeus Suffragan Metropolitan at Manganam St Peters MTC. His Ordination as Kassessa was on 28/06/1980 at St Thomas MTC, Thiruvalla by Dr Alexander Mar Thoma Valiya Metropolitan. The Sabha Prathinidhi Mandalam held on 11/01/2005 elected him as the Episcopa of the Church. He was ordained as Ramban on 11/02/2005 at Jerusalem Mar Thoma Church, Kottayam by Geevarghese Mar Athanasius Episcopa.

On 14th May, 2005 he was consecrated as Episcopa of the Church at S C Seminary Tiruvalla by Dr Philipose Mar Chrysostom Mar Thoma Metropolitan.

He served in different Parishes such as Naranamoozhy, Kattikkalaruvi, Thonikadavu, Ranni Pazhavangadikara, Trivandrum Paruthippara, Karthamangal, Bangalore, Kaithakuzhy, Boston. He was also served as the Chaplain of St Thomas Schools, Trivandrum and as Diocesan Secretary of Trivandrum Quilon Diocese. His tenure as General Secretary of the Sunday School Samajam was the exemplification of his Leadership qualities, organizing capabilities etc.

The centenary celebration of the Sunday School Samajam including the Children’s Maramon under his leadership was a remarkable one. Consecrated as Episcopa on the silver Jubilee year of priesthood, His Lordship is a great orator, good scholar, theologian and above all he is a great friend of children and youth.

Rev. Dr. Kurian Thomas
Diocesan Secretary
Rev. Dr. Kurian Thomas is the Diocesan Secretary. He completed his B.A. from St. Thomas College, Kozhencherry and he took his B. D. from Leonard Theological College Jabalpur. He then pursued his M.Th from FFRRC Kottayam and M.A from Graduate Theological Union Berekely California. He then earned his doctorate in D.Min from San Francisco Theological Seminary California. He served in 51 parishes including Karimba Pallakad, Calcutta, Kuala Lampur, Pazhavangadikara (Ranny), Elamkulam(Kochi), San Francisco, Seattle, Pathanapuram(Immannuel), Chetpet, Adyar, Dadar and Vashi. He also served as a faculty member for Kottayam Theological Seminary.

Mr. Philips John
Diocesan Treasurer
Mr. Philips John, the Diocesan Treasurer hails from Kozhencheri, Kerala. He graduated from St. Thomas College, Kozhencheri. After his post graduation he obtained management qualifications. Since 1975 he became a member of St. Thomas M. T. C., Santacruz, Mumbai and continued till 2004. During this period he was on the Executive Committee for many years and also on the Edavaka Mission Committee. A major part of his Corporate assignments were specially related to marketing, planning and organization of trade fairs. Presently he owns a consultancy firm specialized in trade fairs and summits. Currently, he is a member of St. Peters Mar Thoma Church, Panvel, Navi Mumbai and he was the first Secretary of the parish.

Rev. Shibu P.V.
Bishops Secretary
Rev. Shibu P. V. is the Bishops Secretary. He hails from Vennikulam, Thiruvalla. He had his formal education at Bangalore and he was a member of Primrose Road Mar Thoma Church, Bangalore. He took his B.A from Christ College, Bangalore and his LL.B. from Bangalore University and got registered as an advocate in the Karnataka Bar Council.He was an employee of York International, Middle East Operations and he was a member of Bahrain Mar Thoma Church. He pursued his theological studies from Kottayam Theological Seminary  and took his B.D. in the year 2003. He was ordained as a priest on 8 July, 2003. He served as an Asst. Vicar at St. Peter’s Mar Thoma Church, Manganam, Kottayam (2003-06) and Administrator and Chaplain of Mar Thoma Pubilc School, Kochi (2006-10). Mrs. Lissa Shibu, his wife, and he has a son, Shawn V. Shibu.
